Priyanka Patel, DMD
Dr. Priyanka Patel is a board-certified pediatric dentist who believes every visit to the dentist should be a positive experience - and that the care children receive today shapes how they feel about their health for a lifetime.
Growing up in South Carolina, Dr. Patel developed a love of science and a deep curiosity about how to help others. She went on to graduate from the University of South Carolina Honors College with a degree in Biology and a minor in Spanish. It was there that her passion for pediatric health took root, driven by a belief that early, compassionate dental care can prevent the fear and anxiety that so many adults carry with them from childhood experiences.
Dr. Patel earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with dual honors in Community Oral Health and Radiological Sciences. She then completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also earned her Master of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the New York State Dental Association. Outside of the office, you might find her discovering new restaurants around New York City, unrolling her yoga mat, or planning her next travel adventure with her husband.
